BounceX’s London office is expanding and we are seeking a new People Experience Manager to join our team to amplify our culture and celebrate the people that power our company.  As our sole People Experience lead in the UK, you will be responsible for managing calendars, executing internal events and initiatives, working cross-functionally with our New York- based headquarters, and defining our employee experience that reflects our core values.  

You will work closely with our GM of EMEA based in London, team leads across all departments, as well as our People Team, based in New York.  You’ll have the unique and exciting opportunity to craft and maintain our London office’s culture, working on projects such as: new hire onboarding, organising our team lead’s calendars, managing the culture initiatives, building vendor relationships,  facilitating employee resource groups, planning unhealthy breakfast, writing team communication, and much more. You’ll have the ability to work with every single member of our London office and most importantly, maintaining and cheerleading a positive and collaborative work environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the London office’s people experience, employee engagement, and overall office management and budgeting.
  • Support the GM in managing calendars, scheduling, travel, meetings, interviews, and more.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee internal and external employee events that inspire our team, celebrate wins, and drive positive engagement that reflect our core values.
  • Manage all vendor relationships, including building maintenance when there are issues.
  • Partner with our New York based IT, People and Talent teams on onboarding, benefits, culture survey, scheduling events or interviews, and more. 
  • Manage office inventory; partner with internal stakeholders to order gifts for prospects and clients, and package content for prospect mailings as needed. 
  • Liaise with the NY office to ensure all important information is being communicated to the London office.
  • Book travel for employees (via TripActions); manage our main office phone line, and oversee any incoming and outgoing deliveries / mail.
  • Welcome candidates, clients, and guests to the office.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years professional office management experience, preferably in a tech or high-growth company. 
  • Desire to have a big impact on building and maintaining a culture that embodies our core values.
  • Experience owning new hire onboarding: ordering equipment, partnering with IT and facilities on setting up software and materials, setting up desk and seating arrangements; in addition to off-boarding. 
  • Proactive, creative, and a fast learner who enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
  • Positive attitude with a continual focus on employee experience.
  • Familiarity with most office management and support tools, such as G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, and more.  
  • Experience building strong relationships with catering and event management vendors. 
  • Strong communication and follow up skills.
