BounceX is hiring for a newly created Customer Success Director on our Publishing Team.  As a Customer Success Director, you will work with senior leaders at well-known media companies to help them overcome obstacles in an industry undergoing a transformation. Our clients include the likes of CNN, Refinery29, Conde Nast, Meredith, and CNBC.

We have a market-leading enterprise product that undeniably lifts a publisher’s key business metrics such as paid subscriptions, email signups, session length, and ad revenue. You’ll be tasked with maintaining and growing relationships with our publisher clients using a consultative approach throughout the client lifecycle.

We believe that successful product delivery and performance require a different level of account management which becomes an extension of a client’s internal team. Therefore, our ideal candidate has a proven track record of success managing enterprise clients, building out comprehensive marketing strategies, executing and optimizing those strategies, all while delivering next-level results and service. This role reports to our Director of Customer Success, Publishers.  


  • Own the relationship and ultimate success of BounceX’s publisher clients, including strategy development, campaign execution and optimization, and client retention 
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors to fully understand your clients’ business needs and measurements for success
  • Continuously think outside the box to generate new campaign ideas that continuously improve performance
  • Serve as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design
  • Ensure that customers derive maximum value from their investments in BounceX 
  • Mentor a team of client strategists who will help execute on your marketing vision

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of SaaS customer success or account management experience, preferably at an advertising technology or marketing technology company  
  • Must have experience working with digital publishers
  • Experience managing people is highly preferred
  • Experience having successful retention and upsell conversations with clients
  • DNA for extreme client satisfaction
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Desire to help mentor and develop junior members within the Customer Success Publisher team
